Semi Finals!!!!! (11-16-09)
3 Full Dances! The Pressure is on. Tonight's dances were great. The showed a little history on each celebrity dancer, it was really nice to see. Joanna had wanted to dance since she was a little girl and the family didn't have the money to get her into the practices she needed. I"m glad she's made it this far and hopefully she can do something with what she has learned on dancing with the stars. Everyone of the dancers at some point did a solo section in one of the routines. Donny danced the Tango, samba and the jitterbug. Joanna did the Viennese waltz, the cha cha and the salsa. Kelly danced the rumba, the quick step and the cha cha. Mya did the waltz, the salsa and the cha cha. Donny is entering the semi finals in the last place. Gilles helped him in work on the tango. I love to watch him dance just to see the facial expressions he has. He is an entertainer at heart. He stumbled doing the tango and blamed it on Marie. He did a flip in the jitter bug. He is so much fun to watch. Joanna had help from Brook Burke this week on the Viennese waltz. Derek was singing and the dress she wore was lovely. I got dizzy watching her dance the cha cha and she stumble at the end of her salsa. Kelly's hair was pretty this evening. She looked like a princess in a pink dress. Kelly was the first dancer so have a solo section tonight and Louie stood and watched. I noticed the others did their own moves in the background. I also liked that her dress for the quick step looked so normal. As in I could go to the store and buy it as a nice flowery spring/summer dress. Sharron (her mom) had tears in her eyes tonight. I love how her mom hasn't missed a performance. Ozzy has been to a good many as well. Mya made rules up in practice for practice. I don't really see how that was productive but whatever works for you. I really like the delicateness of her dress. Myas dances always look nice and very good. I never seem to have as much to say about her dances and I think that's why.
